A+ Education Ltd provide training, audit and support services based around the Environment Rating Scales. Our aim is to raise standards in Early Years provision through structured assessment, support and feedback. We work with over 30 local authorities and many settings across the country, using the ECERS and other scales to raise quality. Our work ranges from authority-wide audits of provision to individual setting support and development.
The Directors – Sandra Mathers and Faye Linskey – have a background in research and practice. Sandra is a Principal Investigator at the University of Oxford Department of Education, where she currently leads the ‘quality’ element of the National Evaluation of the Graduate Leader Fund. Faye Linskey is an ex-Head teacher and experienced fieldwork team leader.
A+ Education also works with a number of independent consultants, and has an experienced team of trainers and auditors covering all areas of the country. We have bases in the north and south of England.
